a ABNT NBR 5462?<\/h3>\n<p>A norma brasileira define manuten\u00e7\u00e3o preditiva no item 2.8.9 como aquela que permite garantir uma qualidade de servi\u00e7o desejada por meio da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o sistem\u00e1tica de t\u00e9cnicas de an\u00e1lise, utilizando supervis\u00e3o centralizada ou amostragem para reduzir ao m\u00ednimo a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o preventiva e diminuir a corretiva. \u00c9 a \u00fanica defini\u00e7\u00e3o com for\u00e7a normativa no Brasil (texto integral dispon\u00edvel mediante assinatura no cat\u00e1logo oficial da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abnt.org.br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABNT<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n<p>Em termos pr\u00e1ticos, a NBR 5462 deixa claro que PdM n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas &#8220;manuten\u00e7\u00e3o com sensores&#8221;: \u00e9 um sistema de an\u00e1lise estruturada que coordena coleta, interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o e decis\u00e3o. Esse detalhe importa porque dispensa do t\u00edtulo &#8220;preditiva&#8221; qualquer iniciativa que instale sensores sem definir baseline, threshold e governan\u00e7a de dados. Sensores sozinhos produzem ru\u00eddo; o que entrega resultado \u00e9 o m\u00e9todo de an\u00e1lise por tr\u00e1s deles.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"origem-historica\">De onde surgiu o conceito de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o preditiva?<\/h3>\n<p>O conceito nasceu nos anos 1940 com C.H. Waddington no Coastal Command da Royal Air Force brit\u00e2nica, que demonstrou ser ineficaz substituir componentes por tempo fixo em aeronaves Spitfire e Hurricane. A pesquisa, documentada por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/335444202\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Po\u00f3r, \u017den\u00ed\u0161ek e Basl (IEOM, 2019)<\/a>, fundou a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o baseada em condi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n<p>Waddington percebeu que a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o programada estava, paradoxalmente, aumentando o n\u00famero de falhas nas aeronaves: cada interven\u00e7\u00e3o introduzia variabilidade e nem sempre antecipava o problema correto.
